The deputy head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Denys Vanash together with the representative of the State Emergency Service Mykola Havryliuk inspected the school in the village of Vyshneve for fire safety. The inspection included a system of measures that provide reliable fire protection.

The school in Tatarbunar district expires to eliminate violations of fire safety rules. According to the SESP, the school management had to do:

- Treat wood structures with fire extinguishing solution

- Equip the premises with fire alarms

- Complete the building with special fire equipment

- Equip pipes with spark arresters

- Install lightning protection.

However, these works were not carried out. Fire extinguishers are still installed in remote areas.

One of them hung on a thin rope at a height of 2 meters and posed a danger to students. Electric rolls did not meet safety requirements.

The headmistress stated that the institution lacked money to correct problems, although there was no request for a budget estimate. According to the teachers, training evacuations were not carried out as they were waiting for trainings from SES.

The deputy head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Denys Vanash appealed to the village council of Vyshneve and Tatarbunar RSA with a proposal to eliminate violations at school and to conduct classes on fire safety and evacuation rules for 148 children, as required by the curriculum.

Such unscheduled reviews will be conducted at schools across the region.

With the participation of the Odesa Regional State Administration, a special comprehensive program will be created for conducting training and creating fire safety projects and further financing.
