Round Table Meeting of the Dialogue Platform on Issues Related to the Odessa-Pride Event
Today, Acting Head of Regional State Administration Svetlana Shatalova participated in a roundtable meeting of the dialogue platform on the issues related to the Odessa-Pride event.
During a dialogue platform between law enforcement and civil society, launched with the assistance of the European Union Advisory Mission, the EU's best practices on public order and the experience of the NPS on public order during the event were discussed.
“Today, the protection of human rights and freedoms is the most important task of the state. Equal and inalienable human rights are the basis of democratic and civil society, and their protection must be the ultimate goal of any public policy. Collaboration with the EUMC has become one of the effective mechanisms for establishing a dialogue platform to improve civil security.
