During the first half of 2018, 6.8 billion hryvnias came to the local budgets of the Odessa region. The main sources of income remain the personal income tax and land fee. The disclosure of additional reserves for increased revenues was discussed during the on-site hardware meeting chaired by the head of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

"Today, the average salary in the regions of the region is growing too slowly. Why? Because - corruption and envelopes. In addition, the problem of low pay for land is still relevant. In some areas it is simply inadequate - 4.2%. He advised the head of the Renaissance Rayon State Administration to write an application for dismissal. The reason is the inaction in matters of legalization of salaries and payment of taxes. Meanwhile, we have an example of the Lyman district, which raised last year land rent and earned more than 10 million hryvnias for the local budget. And this is an additional means for repairing roads, kindergartens, equipment of hospitals and schools ", - said the head of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

It should be noted, before the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov instructed to approve the plan of measures to fill the local budgets. Previously, the received financial resource will fully ensure the implementation of major socially important budget programs. It is about improving and providing housing for orphans, as well as helping poor families, ATO soldiers and international soldiers.

Recall that for five months of 2018 local budgets of Odessa region received 5.6 billion hryvnias. Growth amounted to more than 20%, or UAH 941.4 million.
