Volunteers from the Odessa region awarded the President's Awards for Humanitarian Participation in ATO

More than twenty inhabitants of the Odessa region - ATO veterans and volunteers who support Ukrainian military in the area of anti-terrorist operation, received the honors of the President of Ukraine. The awards were presented by the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

"Today, in this room there are participants in hostilities, volunteers, military chaplains. You are our new Ukrainian army, which is actually created from ashes. Dear defenders and volunteers, it is a great honor for me to stand here, to look into your eyes, to feel unity with you. On the eve of the 27th anniversary of Independence of our country, I want to wish you good health, confident victories, steel nerves, strength, happiness and temperament ", - said during the ceremony Maxim Stepanov.

Among the awarded participants are anti-terrorist operations and volunteers helping the military battalions of 28 separate mechanized, 58 separate motorized infantry, 25 separate airborne and other brigades; units of the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, as well as volunteer battalions. Posthumously, the resignation of the President of Ukraine was awarded to the inhabitants of the Odessa region, volunteer Victor Pogodin. The winner of the battle comrade of the deceased hero - the captain Andrey Skorokhod.

The distinguished guests of the President of Ukraine were also representatives of the Odessa ethno-drive group "Druzhemu Musicko". As part of the "Musical Battalion" they help soldiers, as well as attend various ATO military units.
