On the eve of the New Year's holidays, the children of the "Rainbow" children's refuge in Berezivka received gifts from the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov. At the moment, there are 13 children aged 4 to 13 years old. They wrote in advance letters with the desired gifts that they would like to find under the Christmas tree. So all the children received personal greetings - toys, shoes, rollers or clothes.

"It is very important to realize the wishes of every child in life. After all, the child should not stop believing in a miracle. And for us, the highest reward is their joyful faces and smiling eyes. Let these Christmas holidays make the most cherished dreams! "- said Maxim Stepanov.

It should be noted that a week ago, the head of the Regional State Administration visited an updated "Rainbow" children's refuge, which he opened after major repairs. Maxim Stepanov congratulated children with seedlings. The children personally conducted an excursion to the shelter for the region's leader and shared their impressions.

Recall that on November 24, 2017, the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maksim Stepanov spontaneously visited a refuge in Berezivskyi district. Information from the volunteers was confirmed: the health of children was threatened by excessive humidity in the premises. On the instructions of the head of the Regional State Administration, the project-budget documentation was prepared urgently. The capital repairs were allocated from the regional budget in the amount of almost 1.9 million hryvnia.

The process of institution reform is underway. On the basis of the shelter, it is planned to create a center for social and psychological rehabilitation of children.
