"Open lessons of football" gathered more than 200 participants

Artsyzsky district had the honor to host the "Open lessons of football" social festival. The sporting holiday took place on May 8 in the village of Pavlivka under the auspices of the Football Federation of Ukraine and with the support of the European Union.

Speaking with a welcoming speech during the ceremonial opening of the event, the regional coordinator of the project Yuri Stepaniuk noted that the Artsyzsky district was recognized as the leader of the Odessa region for the development of sports and handed the chairman of the district state administration Sergey Parpulanskym a letter from the Football Federation of the Odessa region. In addition, the head of the district received as a present - a football ball with the autograph of the legend of football Valery Porkoyan.

About 200 children from 15 district schools, pupils from the district children's youth sports school, as well as more than 20 volunteers gathered at the festival, which takes place at the local stadium.

Festive mood and great desire of participants to play football, perform special exercises under the guidance of an experienced team of trainers and volunteers have transformed the stadium into a full-fledged sports and sports complex.

The sporting action began with a fun warm-up. After that, the volunteers are located in groups of 12 locations to participate in various football games, exercises and competitions. They introduced children with the simplest elements of football, the rules of conduct at the stadium, the foundations of a healthy lifestyle and taught teamwork. Also, the participants of the festival were psychologists and police officers. Well, of course, the children played football, mastered receptions to transfer the ball, overcame obstacles, performed exercises on orientation and balance, were trained on specialized platforms. At the end of the event, everyone received a branded T-shirt and letter of honor from the FFU "Open Soccer Lessons".
