Jumping through the hearth and weaving wreaths - Ivan Kupala was celebrated in the Odessa region. In particular, on the night of July 6th-7th, the most massive festivities were held in the northern region - in the village Savran, in the center - in the village of Mayaki, as well as in the south of Odesa region - in the Frumushik-Nova museum complex.

In the village of Savran, on the shore of the Southern Bug, the ethno-festival "Flower of the Ferns" gathered more than 3,5 thousand guests and residents of the district. The organizers have prepared a rich program, namely: an exhibition-fair of products of arts and crafts of folk artists, performances of vocal and choreographic teams. The annual ethno-festival "Fern Flower" will last until July 8.

At the same time, in the village of Mayaki, near the Dniester River, as well as in the museum complex "Frumushika-Nova", theatrical rituals "The Flower of Destiny" and the show "The Great Fire" were performed. In addition, the guests took part in traditional folk entertainment and bathing ceremonies. It should be noted that the events were supported by the Odessa Regional State Administration.
