On May 13, 2019, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Vitaliy Svichynsky, a select conference with chairmen of district state administrations, united territorial communities and city mayors of cities of oblast significance was held.

"The organization and preparation of water facilities for recreational or recreational purposes, each year prior to the beginning of the bathing holiday season, relies on local executive authorities, local self-government bodies, enterprises, institutions, organizations irrespective of ownership, as well as citizens of Ukraine, foreigners and stateless persons who use water facilities, "said the Acting Director of the Department of Civil Protection, Defense Work and Cooperation with the Law Enforcement Agency we are the regional state administration Igor Semkiv.

During the meeting, the head of the State Ecological Inspectorate of the Crimean-Black Sea Olexandr Stavniichuk stressed that within the coastal protective zone of the seas, around the sea bays and estuaries a beach zone, the width of which is determined depending on the landscape-forming activity of the sea, but not less than 100 meters from the bottom of the water. Within the limits of the beach zone of coastal stripes, construction of any structures, except for hydraulic and linear ones, is prohibited.

Also, the speaker stressed that today the illegal construction of the coastal protective strip along the Black Sea, bays and estuaries is intensively carried out. Concern is caused by the unreasonable cases of granting permits by local governments for the development of land management projects regarding the organization and establishment of boundaries of the territory of the water protection zone of the Black Sea.

We emphasize that economic activity within the coastal-protective zone with gross violations of the norms of Ukrainian legislation, including environmental protection, leads to deterioration of the status of the coastal-protective zone.
