In the Odessa region, they commemorate the Holodomor victims of 1932-1933, which is recognized by the international community as a genocide of the Ukrainian people. In memory of millions of victims, deputy head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Sergey Koleboshin put flowers and spikes on a symbolic sign on the Lidersovsky Boulevard.

It should be noted that every year on the last Saturday of November, Ukrainians and the world community commemorate the victims of the Holodomor, who suffered the Ukrainian people in 1932-1933, 1921-1922 and 1946-1947. Traditionally, at 16:00, a nationwide minute of silence will take place, and after it - everyone can join the action "A candle of memory".

Recall that in the Odessa Historical and Local History Museum for visitors the exhibition "Ukraine. 1932-1933. Genocide by Famine ". Familiarity with little-known archive material can take up to two weeks. And by the end of February 2020, the exposition will be visited in all regions of the Odessa region.
