In the Podilsky, Bilgorod-Dnistrovsky and Savran districts, inclusive-resource centers were opened. The work of institutions is aimed at integrating children with special educational needs into the educational process. This was announced by deputy chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Serhii Koleboshin.

"On the map of the Odessa region there were three more inclusive-resource centers for children with special educational needs. With their help there is a rehabilitation and correction of the development of the child, which is extremely important for harmonious socialization. Centers are equipped with modern equipment and inventory, which activate cognitive processes and increase the motivation of children to study. We plan to cover all regions of the region with inclusive education, "Sergei Koleboshin emphasized.

Each IPC has 4 cabinets. Among them: a cabinet of medical physical education, rooms of psychological unloading, assessment and psychological and pedagogical assistance, as well as a resource room. Financing of the work of the institutions is carried out at the expense of educational subvention, so the services of the centers will be free of charge.

The level of development of children will be determined in several areas: physical and psychological state, speech and educational activities. In case of identifying a child with special educational needs, an individual development program will be formed for her.

According to the results of comprehensive psychological and pedagogical assessment, ICR specialists will send and provide assistance in the placement of a child with special needs in educational institutions.

Recall that in May, the Odessa region joined the national project on the development of an inclusive educational environment. The wife of President Marina Poroshenko and the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov signed a memorandum on the inclusion of the region in the project "Inclusive education - the level of consciousness of the nation".

The development of inclusive education is one of the key priorities of the Strategic Action Plan of the Chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov "Intelligent Region" for 2017-2019.
