On the basis of the Odessa Center for Vocational Education, a Center for Professional Excellence was opened for those students who mastered the construction profession. It has become a modern educational platform that combines vocational education institutions, employers and national manufacturers of building materials. The ceremony was attended by deputy chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Serhii Koleboshin.

"Today, together with our partners, a construction company, we are opening a genuine professional-technical hub. Here, specialists from different institutions and different regions of Ukraine will be able to study, improve their qualifications and retrain. This project is extremely important, as there is a problem of labor migration and shortage of personnel, and not only in the Odessa region. The opening of the Center for Professional Excellence is a resource that will enable those who wish to receive high-quality professional knowledge and contribute to the implementation of dual education, "said Sergey Koleboshin.

Also during the opening of the Center, a Memorandum of Cooperation on Vocational Education between the Odessa Regional State Administration and Falmgaut-Polimin LLC was signed. Such cooperation provides for the provision of teaching materials for vocational education institutions that train qualified construction workers, as well as workshops, trainings, seminars and conferences.

It should be noted that the Center for Professional Excellence combines informational and practical laboratories, information-theoretical Smart-audience and practical polygons.

Recall that six institutions of vocational education in the Odessa region implement a dual form of training. It involves taking into account the demands of enterprises for education, the training of students in the process of work, the involvement of the production staff as instructors to teach. Modernization and development of vocational education is one of the key priorities of the program of the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov "О-12. Twelve Steps to Modern Education ". New standards for training specialists are formed in partnership with the business of the region. Therefore, a graduate of a vocational school must get a guaranteed job, and the employer is a professional.
