In the Odessa region, a sowing campaign continues: everyone is invited to use support programs
In the 25 districts of the Odessa region, spring-field work is under way. In order to further develop their own economy, farmers can take advantage of a number of support programs. This was stated during the meeting with representatives of the agro-industrial complex by the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.
"I believe that each of you must have this information: where and when to apply, in order to take advantage of your right to help from the state and the region. Last year, our farmers received 128 million UAH from the state budget and showed excellent results! These are various programs - animal husbandry, modernization of equipment, purchase of equipment for processing. I'm sure this year will be no less successful, "said Maxim Stepanov.
It should be noted that the management of agrarian policy of the Odessa Regional State Administration continues to provide consultations on the conditions and necessary documents for participation in programs of support both state and regional. Agrarians were able to ask questions and get information right away during the meeting.
As it became known, the first 83.2 thousand hectares have already been sown by early spring crops. In addition, 49 thousand hectares were allocated to agricultural enterprises for early cereals: barley, peas, oats and wheat.
"The warm weather promotes a complex of spring-field works. Private farms started sowing sunflower, gooseberries, lentils, flaxseed, mustard, vegetables, as well as perennial and perennial grasses, "said Ivan Petriv, head of the agrarian policy department of the Odessa Regional State Administration.
Recall, at the initiative of the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov adopted a program of development of the agro-industrial complex of the Odessa region for 2019-2023 "Agrarian Odeschina". It provides 17 directions of budget support, including the introduction of scientific developments.
