In the Odessa region there are already 35 basic schools with 65 branches. This was announced by the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

"Every child in the Odessa region should have access to quality education. This is an indisputable truth. A wide network of reference schools allows this task to be carried out. Already today, more than 16,5 thousand students of our region study in them. In rural areas, they get comfortable training, professional teaching of subjects and the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of distance education. I am sure that we will soon see the effectiveness of establishing secondary schools in the indicators of the ZNO ", - emphasized Maxim Stepanov.

It should be noted that the decision on the formation of a basic educational institution "Raukovsky institution of general secondary education of the I-III grades of Berezivsky district council of the Odessa region" and two branches was adopted in October 2018. This backbone school was thirty-fifth in the region.

Recall that 99.5% of schools in the Odessa region are currently using high-speed Internet. More than 595 educational institutions are connected to the Wi-Fi network. Also, at the initiative of the head of the region Maxim Stepanov, a new project "Teacher +" is being implemented, aimed at ensuring equal access of students to quality education through the network of distance classes.

The development of education and the creation of modern reference schools in the region is one of the key priorities of the Strategic Action Plan "Intelligent Region" for 2017-2019 by the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov.
