In the Odessa region, 29 service cars were handed over to village clinics

The rural clinics of the Odessa region have transferred 29 service cars of the Renault Duster model. Doctors will be able to use modern crossovers, in particular, during patient visits and counseling. The cost of each of them is half a million hryvnia.

"This is the modern Renault Duster, which will be equipped with our outpatient clinics. It is with their help that high-quality medical care will be provided to the inhabitants of the region. The machines were purchased under the program of the President of Ukraine on the reform of rural medicine, the total cost is - 14.5 million hryvnia. It is very pleasant that this reform started in Odessa oblast and already gives positive results in the course of the year, "said Maxim Stepanov, the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration.

It should be noted that official transport for ambulances was purchased by the Odesa oblast administration of health care at the expense of a subvention from the state budget. One of the machines is already operating in the newly built ambulatory in Mayakov. At the end of last year, this medical institution opened the first among the projected, another 28 are under construction. The ambulance is designed for the work of four family physicians. In addition to their offices, there are manipulative, dressing and other auxiliary rooms. There is also an emergency medical aid department, which serves not only Mayakovskaya OTG, but also Nikolaevka and victims of an accident at an almost 30-kilometer section of the Odesa-Reni highway and local roads.

Recall Odessa region was the first in the country to begin the reform of rural medicine. The relevant law was signed by President Poroshenko during a working visit to the region on December 27, 2017. As one of the priorities of the Strategic Action Plan of the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov "Intelligent Region", the development of the medical sector continues.
