The new agricultural machinery was received by the Ovidiopol branch of the Odessa Center for Vocational Education. The keys from the tractor and other facilities of the facility were handed over by the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Serhii Koleboshin.

"For the first time in the years of independence, vocational schools of the region receive new agricultural machinery. This year, on the initiative of the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov, 6 tractors were purchased for practical classes of students. Today, such equipment was obtained by the Odesa Center for Vocational Education in Ovidiopol. In addition, the training and practical center "Agrotechnologies" was created on the basis of this educational institution. This is such a modern form of preparation of specialists in the agrarian sector. Here, students have the opportunity to master the profession in the best possible way, combining theory with practice. The center is equipped with the necessary equipment and new equipment. By the end of the year it is planned to open several more similar educational laboratories in the region in other professional fields ", - said Sergey Koleboshin.

The deputy chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration noted that 2.5 million hryvnias were allocated from the regional budget to equip the training and practical center "Agrotechnologies". For these means, a tractor and agricultural equipment were purchased: a tillage unit, a mower, a four-row cultivator, a reversible hinged plow, a tractor trailer, a mineral fertilizer spreader and a seeder.

Earlier, 5 modern tractors were transferred to the Arziz, Ananiv and Isayiv Professional Agricultural Lyceums, as well as to the Northern Center for Vocational Education.

For reference. The DNZ "Odessa Center for Vocational Education" combines several educational institutions. In general, it has more than a thousand students studying in 29 specialties.

Modernization and development of vocational education is one of the key priorities of the program of the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov "О-12. Twelve Steps to Modern Education ". New standards for training specialists are formed in partnership with the business of the region. Therefore, a graduate of a vocational school must get a guaranteed job, and the employer is a professional.
