In the Odessa region, they plan to create modern receiving and diagnostic offices - the "ehergency room" on the basis of all central district hospitals. It is expected that this will allow the whole region to provide emergency assistance quickly and qualitatively. This became known during the expanded OAA hardware meeting in Liubashivskyi district.

"All departments of emergency medical care will be equipped according to the principle of the" emergency room ", as in the windows, and will necessarily have a telemedicine office. That one doctor should be able to communicate with others to provide qualified assistance and to determine the correct diagnosis. Every rayon hospital will have every opportunity to provide emergency medical care in order not to carry the patient to a hospital in another district, "said Maxim Stepanov, the head of the Odessa regional state administration.

It should be noted that the model uses the "emergency room" in hospitals located in rural areas of the United States and Canada. The appropriate receiving and diagnostic departments provide an opportunity to conduct a survey and to diagnose and follow the patient's route within 1.5-2 hours.

"Reception-diagnostic offices can be implemented at the level of each district hospital in different volumes, depending on needs. For example, Lyubashevka already has a comprehensive tool that expands the capabilities of the "ehergency room". Here is a computer tomograph, more beds, a good operating unit, and it is also possible to provide a round-the-clock duty of the surgical team, traumatologists, etc. "- said Vyacheslav Polasnyy, Director of the Department of Health of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

Recall that in late 2017, during a working trip to the Odessa region, President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law "On improving the availability and quality of medical care in rural areas". Also, in the Oknyansky District Central Hospital the system of provision of medical services in rural areas started by the Head of State. Doctors and medical assistants from the ambulatory clinic received mobile diagnostic complexes, a telemedicine room and an emergency room. Only in the first quarter of this year, 550 people received help in the department. Before the launch of the "emergency room" for the same period, their number was only 169.
