In the Odessa region, plans are being drawn up for community-based forward-looking development. Discuss them with society, adopt and implement - President Poroshenko set this task.

"We are going to be in such a circle for the first time. However, I am deeply convinced that this is just the beginning of our close cooperation for preparing a long-term development plan for the region for the next 3 years, "said Vyacheslav Raichev, the head of the RSA, during a meeting of the Regional Development Council of Velikomikhaylivskyi District.

Priority directions for development have already been identified in Velikomikhaylivskyi, Ivanovo, Ovidiopolsky, Savransky and Shiryaevsky districts. Participation in the medium-term planning is taken by their leaders, representatives of the Odessa regional state administration, deputies, experts in various fields and the public.

"Our common task for both rayon authorities and villagers, and residents of settlements - to jointly identify the most important projects and find the opportunity to implement the conceived", - addressed the participants of the preparatory meeting of the Regional Development Council of the Baltsky District, the head of the RDA Roman Katsmaza.

Over social and infrastructure projects that can change lives will work in all areas and cities. Prior to this, in November the first meeting of the Regional Development Council at the oblast level, headed by Maxim Stepanov, took place.

"Our event is part of the national strategy, which was introduced by the Head of State, actively supports the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration and has a specific goal - to update the plan for the development of our state, region and district in the coming years", - said during the meeting, the Council for Regional Development of Ovidiopolsky Rayon . at. Head of the RDA Igor Ilchenko.

Priorities for the next three years - road repairs, projects for the development of medical and educational services, sports and entrepreneurship. The Head of the Odessa region noted that "the Regional Development Council is an opportunity to analyze the effectiveness of each manager and make a cut of the starting situation, taking into account the specifics of each territory."

Earlier, President Poroshenko instructed regional leaders to develop plans for the future development of territories for 2019-2021, discuss and adopt them at the community level. The result will be an updated plan for the development of the entire region over the next three years.
