The cultural and educational media space was created on the basis of the Renaissance district children's library. It is equipped with computers, an HD projector, a webcam and modern furniture. This was announced by deputy chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Serhii Koleboshin.

"In the Odessa region, the transformation of libraries into modern media centers continues. Residents of the area will have the opportunity to use wai-eyed here or spend time on the book. And at the same time creative meetings, lectures and master classes can take place in the created room. Thus, the main functions of the library - cultural and educational - are preserved, but they are adapted to the modern needs ", - said Sergey Koleboshin.

To open the media center in the premises, cosmetic repair was carried out, tables and exhibition stands were bought. In addition, the library also received a set of literature to replenish the book stock.

In general, by the end of the year in Odessa region it is planned to open more than 10 such modern spaces.

Recall that the opening of modern cultural and educational media centers based on cultural institutions is foreseen by the Strategic Action Plan of the Head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov "Intelligent Region" for 2017-2019. Each such media space is suitable for people with disabilities. The purchase of technical equipment is directed from the regional budget.
