The Child Protective Service together with volunteers presented a new system of assistance to children

In October, the Child Protective Service of the Odesa Regional State Administration presented a draft plan for deinstitutionalization in the Odesa region. According to this plan, the system of providing social services for children and families in difficult life circumstances will be reorganized in the next 7 years.

Volunteers and the "Manifesto of the Peace" Charitable Foundation invited all those indifferent to the round table to discuss the draft regional deinstitutionalization plan.

The Deputy Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Vitalii Svichynskyi together with volunteers and community activists participated in the Round table discussing the draft Regional Plan for reforming the institutional care and upbringing of children in the Odesa region for 2019-2026 to develop effective proposals and mechanisms.

The following issues were addressed: the collection of data on the situation of children in districts, cities, integrated territorial communities; monitoring of institutions of institutional care and upbringing of children; the inventory of educational, medical, rehabilitation services provided to children and families with children, and attention was drawn to the need to study the needs of families of children in residential care.
