Reducing the queue at kindergarten: new preschool offices opened in Berezivsky district

New pre-school departments were opened in two villages of Berezivsky district. This was reported in the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa Regional State Administration.
"The offices are located in separate premises of the schools of villages Petrivka and Mikhailovka. They are equipped with the necessary furniture, inventory and toys. Each of them is designed for 20 places. As a result, 40 children will be able to receive high-quality pre-school education ", - Alexander Lonchak, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa Regional State Administration, emphasized.
It should be noted that the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov initiated the introduction in the region of the mechanism "funds follow the child" in financing of preschool establishments, in order to completely eliminate queues in kindergartens. This will stimulate the private sector to open new kindergartens and help solve the problem with the queues systematically.
Recall that the development of a network of preschool institutions in the Odessa region is one of the key priorities of the Strategic Action Plan of the Head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov "Intelligent Region". Only in the period from September 2017 to September 2018 in the Odessa region were created 2400 additional places in kindergartens. And by the end of the year there will be created another 600 seats.
