For regional development started work in twelve districts of the Odessa region. The participants outline the key projects that will be included in their long-term plans and will be implemented during 2019-2021.

"The decentralization reform reduces the distance from the decision-maker to the community. Now we have to focus our efforts on the implementation of infrastructure projects in the fields of medicine, education, culture, sports and tourism ", - said the head of Lyubashevsky district state administration Vitaliy Labush.

In the community of the Bolgrad region, the priority for the next three years is the security of the territories and population. "Security matters on the territory of the Bolgrad region are very important. Safe Bolgradshchyna program includes the installation of CCTV cameras and the creation of a single center of crisis situations, from where the data will be transmitted to the relevant services for operational solution ", - said the head of the Bolgrad district state administration Denis Musienko.

The projects developed by the Councils of Ananevsky, Berezivsky, Bilgorod-Dnistrovsky, Izmail, Podilsky, Oknyansky and Tarutino districts developed in the near future will be discussed at the community level. Participation in planning is taken by district and OTG leaders, representatives of the Odessa Oblast State Administration, deputies, experts in various fields, local enterprises and the public.

"The benefits of the reform felt on the inhabitants of the Kamyan village community: villages began to set roads, build water pipes, repair educational institutions, and constructed a sports ground. All this for decades was in decline, "- said the director of the Kamyanskaya school Valentin Petrovsky during a meeting of the Council for Regional Development in Rozdilnyansky district.

Participants of the Councils also analyze the achievements of the socio-economic development of the districts for 2014-2018. "The head of state started the financial decentralization, gave an opportunity to increase the budget of the Tatarbunary district 4 times. It laid the foundation for the economic growth of individual communities and the whole country ", - said the head of the Tatarbunary regional state administration Ruslan Pytak.

In Saratsky district, the participants of the meeting proposed to put into a long-term development plan the construction of a new school, the repair of the drainage system and the creation of the historic and cultural complex "Werner School".

Recall that the Council for Regional Development has already started working in Velikomikhaylivsky, Ivanovo, Ovidiopolsky, Savran and Shiryaevsky districts.

Earlier, President Petro Poroshenko instructed regional leaders to develop plans for prospective development of territories for 2019-2021, discuss and adopt them at the community level. The result of the joint work will be an updated plan for the development of the entire region for the next three years.
