The President signed a law on the granting of the Kuyalnik status of a resort of state importance

During a working visit to the Odessa region and participation in the work of the Council for Regional Development, the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, signed a law "On the declaration of the natural territories of the Kuyalnitsky estuary of the Odessa region as a resort of state importance".

"We launch the law of Ukraine on the declaration of natural territories of the Kuyalnitsky estuary of the Odessa region as a resort of state significance," said Petro Poroshenko, signing the document.

Thus, the law determines the natural areas of the Kuyalnitsky estuary of the Odessa region is a resort of state importance and establishes specific boundaries and zones of sanitary protection.

"Thank you very much, Mr. President! We will attract investors and show the prospect. A buzzard can become, and I'm sure, will become an international resort. But for this we should focus on the development of the entire region ", - stressed the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

According to the head of the oblast, the law will help to preserve and rational use of natural therapeutic resources and increase the tourist flow to the Odessa region. After all, only last year the region visited 6.2 million tourists.

It should be noted that granting the status of a resort of state importance will provide Kuyalnitsky estuary with special protection of unique natural medical resources, their rational use.

Recall that in December 2018, on the initiative of the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada declared the territory of the Kuyalnitsky estuary a resort of state importance.
