Vyacheslav Ovechkin, First Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, met with the heads of the united territorial communities of the region. Together with Dmytro Radulov, Director of the Department of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning, they discussed the hottest issues with united territorial community representatives.

"We have come together to intensify the solution of the issues that exist in the communities and together find ways to solve them. I am convinced that the quality of life of the residents of Odesa Region depends on effective cooperation between executive bodies and local authorities, and the result is important for the people, ”Vyacheslav Ovechkin said.

During the meeting they discussed the state of decentralization and the new administrative-territorial structure in the region, the development of united territorial community territories, issues of repair of local roads, transfer of agricultural land to communities. Also, some problematic issues of specific united territorial community, search for ways to attract investment and establish cooperation are considered.

"Administrative reform is coming to an end. Ukraine remains a three-tier administrative-territorial system. At the basic level - territorial communities - in the Odessa region there will be 91. Subregional level - districts. The Verkhovna Rada has formed 7 districts on the territory of Odesa Region, ”said Dmytro Radulov, Director of the Department of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of Odesa Regional State Administration.

Also during the meeting, the parties discussed upgrading the region's infrastructure. According to the first deputy head of the regional state administration Vyacheslav Ovechkin, the meeting was open and constructive. The regional state administration will continue to advise united territorial community heads on community development.
