Odessa Oblast State Administration signed an agreement on cooperation with the development council of the Vidzeme region planning the Republic of Latvia
Today, deputy head of the regional state administration Serhii Koleboshin, together with the chairman of the Council for the development of the Vidzeme region, the planning of the Republic of Latvia, Hardis Vents, signed the Cooperation Agreement.
"First of all, on behalf of the Odessa Regional State Administration, I want to thank Latvia for always maintaining its reliable partner in Ukraine, for the support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Ukrainian state. Our countries have significant potential for bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation. And business of both parties is interested in strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, in particular, our Odessa region ", - said Sergey Koleboshin.
In his turn, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine, Juris Poikans, also thanked for the partnership between the countries, was welcomed.
"Odessa has all possibilities for development in many spheres: from tourism to agrarian sector, therefore signing of the Cooperation Agreement will become a reliable platform for the development of mutually beneficial relations between the parties," said Yevhen Volynets, Director of the Department of Investments, International and Interregional Cooperation.
It should be noted that the parties will form and develop relations in the trade, economic, investment, tourism, educational, medical and energy spheres.
