Odessa region in January-April 2019 exported goods for $ 494.7 million, which is 5.9% more than in the same period last year. Foreign trade operations were conducted with partners from 147 countries of the world.

The goods of the following groups were most exported:

  • herbal products - $ 254.8 million;
  • fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin - $ 70.3 million;
  • ready-made food products - $ 56.9 million;
  • Ground vehicles, aircraft, floating means - $ 32.4 million;
  • machinery, equipment and machinery; Electrical equipment - $ 25.3 million
  • "The increase of export growth rates is possible due to the improvement of the quality of products of the Odesa region, the increase of production, the existing quotas of the EU and the international free trade zones. But we are making efforts in this direction. The Export Support Center, which operates in the test mode, is already gaining momentum and is actively working with potential exporters. They are young, purposeful and burning with the desire to promote their achievements in world markets. And we are with them ", - emphasized the director of the Department of investment, international and interregional cooperation of the regional state administration Eugene Volynets.

    It should be noted that in January-April 2019, the volume of export of goods to the EU countries amounted to $ 148.0 million (29.9% of the total volume of exports of goods in the region) and, compared with January-April 2018, exports increased by 7.9%.

    The most significant export deliveries to the EU countries were carried out until:

  • Poland - 32.6 million dollars
  • Italy - 24.9 million dollars
  • Spain - $ 18.4 million
  • The Netherlands - 17.9 million dollars.
  • Romania - 7.0 million dollars.
  • Germany - 6.9 million dollars;
  • Great Britain - 4.7 million dollars.
  • Portugal - 4.3 million dollars
  • France - 4.0 million dollars USA.
