The Odesa region plans will send 57 million UAH of a subsidy for the development of medicine in rural areas

The Odesa Regional State Administration has approved a list of projects aimed at developing a health system in rural areas, totaling UAH 57 million. Funds should be raised through subsidies for the development of rural medicine.

The deputy head of the Odesa regional state administration Denys Vanash informed about it at a meeting of the commission of the Ministry of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.

The subvention will be aimed at the construction of five new dispensaries and the repair of nine old ones in the Odesa region, as well as the purchase of 20 vehicles for rural dispensaries

More than 200 units of software and hardware systems will be purchased for doctors to provide and use telemedicine services.

“The reform in the medical sector should be synchronous in both Odesa and the region as a whole. The issue of health care support is urgent and important and is one of the priorities of the authorities. In addition, the construction of 39 new dispensaries will be completed at the expense of the subsidy by the end of 2020, ”said Denys Vanash, Deputy Head of Regional State Administration.
