The volume of export in the Odessa region for 11 months has reached more than 1.6 billion dollars

In 11 months of 2018, the volume of exports in the Odessa region reached more than 1 billion 600 million dollars. The largest share of exported products was made from vegetable products, land transport vehicles, aircraft and ready-made food products. This was reported in the Department of Investments, International and Interregional Cooperation of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

"We are seeing a steady growth of exports in the Odesa region based on the geography of supplies. Thus, in the period from January to December 2018, the volume of exports to Australia increased by 9.3 times, Bulgaria and the Philippines - by 3.5 times, and to Poland - by 1.6 times. In addition, in the spring, in the test mode, the Export Promotion Support Center under the ODA will begin its operation. He will help domestic producers export their goods abroad, "said Eugenia Volynets, Head of Investment, International and Interregional Cooperation Department of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

It should be noted that most goods from the Odessa region were exported to partner countries, including India, China, Turkey, Republic of Moldova and Spain. In particular, over 11 months, the export of goods to the EU countries has reached more than 383 million dollars, which is - 24% of the total.

Recall that last summer, the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov announced the opening of the Export Promotion Center in the region. The goal of the project is to provide advice and in practice to help businesses export their products. Already, its experts are invited to cooperate with manufacturers of the Odessa region, who have a desire to export their goods abroad.
