The head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov presented state awards to outstanding residents of the region. Among them are doctors, educators, science and art, lawyers, civil servants, builders and entrepreneurs. In particular, two surviving students were awarded the medal "For the Saved Life", which saved dozens of children during the fire at the Victoria camp. The award ceremony took place on the eve of the 22nd anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine.

"22 years ago Ukraine received its own Constitution. This is the most important law of our country. A document that guarantees the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens! The most valuable thing is that in any country. It is important that we always remember and adhere to all the rules laid down in the Constitution. With a holiday! ", - said during the ceremony, the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

In addition, Maxim Stepanov presented the Honorary Diplomas of the Regional State Administration for his personal contribution to the provision of socio-economic, cultural and educational development to the athletes, servicemen and district leaders.

Recall, the Constitution of Ukraine was adopted in 1996. The public holiday is celebrated annually on June 28th.
