7 million hryvnias to be allocated in Odesa region to fight COVID-19 coronavirus

From the reserve fund of the budget of the Odesa region will allocate 7 million UAH for implementation of anti-epidemic measures. They are intended to prevent the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus. The first deputy head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Ovechkin said this.

"These funds will be used for the purchase of artificial ventilation devices (worth 4.5 million), personal protective equipment (1 million) and test systems for rapid diagnosis of coronavirus infection (1.5 million hryvnia)," he said. Vyacheslav Ovechkin.

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the region, the activities of mass gathering facilities are restricted and part of the border crossing points is closed.

All hospitals are fully operational. The establishments have already expanded more than 900 places. If necessary, all medical facilities will be re-profiled to treat patients with coronavirus.
