In Odesa Oblast presented a mobile application for tourists and audio guides of tourist areas. Developments will simplify navigation for travelers to the region. The projects were implemented with the support of the Odesa Regional State Administration.

“Inland tourism has been a trend in recent years. Both the mobile application and the audio guides will be another impetus for the development of this direction in the region. When working on these projects, we aimed for convenience and simplicity. People from any part of Ukraine will be able to come to our region and quickly build a convenient tourist route for themselves. During the trip, they will listen to audio guides and learn a lot about the history and nature of our region, ”said Denys Vanash, Deputy Head of Odesa Regional State Administration.

The mobile app is already published in the app store and play market. It can be found under the name Odesa Region Guide. The list of objects is open - anyone can add it at the link https://regionguide.od.ua/.

“Regarding audio guides, people can already hear information about the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, Danube and Nizhniy-Dmitrov subregions. We will transfer all developments to the districts, ATGs, museums and Administration of Seaports of Ukraine for distribution on cruise ships. Talks are also underway to transfer audio guides to bus stations and airports, ”said Oleksandr Shcheka, Head of the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Resorts of Odesa Regional State Administration.

It should be noted that the mobile application and audio guides were presented during the first meeting of the Tourist Board at the Odesa Regional State Administration. The Council has become a permanent advisory and advisory body on tourism and tourism infrastructure in the region. Her work is aimed at creating a roadmap for tourism development in Odesa region in the following areas: event tourism, recreation, scientific practice, inclusive tourism, sporting events, eco-ethno tourism.
