Today, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Vitaliy Svichynsky, a working meeting was held on the implementation of urgent preventive measures to preserve the life and health of children in the region.

The meeting addressed the reasons for the tragic event that occurred on July 1, 2019 in the village of Cherna Oknyansky district, and, most importantly, discussion of joint actions to prevent such situations in the future.

"The state has undertaken to protect children, as representatives of the executive branch, we must provide all necessary assistance to create an environment safe for the development of the child, preserving its health and life", - said Vitaliy Svichinsky.

The participants of the meeting considered the mechanism for introducing an action plan for conducting raids in order to check the living conditions of children in difficult living conditions, children with disabilities and children deprived of parental care, jointly with the children's service, social workers and law enforcement agencies.

Also, along with representatives of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Oblast, the Patrol Police Department in Odesa Oblast, the Main Directorate of the DSNC in Odesa Oblast and the Department of Education and Science of the RSA, it was decided to carry out in the form of games for children training in fire safety, provision of first medical aid, studying the rules of the road.

Volodymyr Samborsky, Head of the Department for Children of the Regional State Administration, said that measures are now being taken to strengthen the control of families in difficult living conditions, incomplete and large families, and others like that.
