Any attempts to violate electoral law in the region must be ruthlessly responded. This was stated by the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov during meetings with observers of international missions ENEMO and CANADEM.

"It is important for us that these elections have passed the highest standards of democracy. And the Odessa region is able to provide this process. No notice of attempts to violate election law will be left to the attention of law enforcement agencies. It is in such a rigid reaction that I insist, "Maxim Stepanov said.

The regional envoy emphasized that he was ready to maximally facilitate the work of international observers in the territory of the Odessa region. "You can count on all the necessary organizational and technical assistance," added the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

During the conversation with representatives of the international non-governmental organization CANADEM, issues of cybersecurity, as well as logistics of polling stations were raised. Both missions are currently waiting for the arrival of short-term observers.

"We have clearly understood that you will be rigorous in responding to violations and trying to make these elections transparent and open. We appreciate and thank you for your serious approach to our 11th mission in Ukraine, "said Artur AGAMALYAN, long-term observer of the ENEMO mission.

Earlier, the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov met with representatives of the OSCE mission to monitor the presidential elections. The parties discussed cooperation in preventing violations during the electoral process, free access to polling stations and the maintenance of law and order.
