The draft law "On the announcement of the natural territories of the Kuyalnitsky estuary of the Odessa region as a resort of state importance" is already under consideration in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This was announced today by the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov during a briefing for the media.

"I am confident that we will achieve the granting of the Kuyalniki estuary status of a resort of state importance. Documents have already been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, and I have addressed all faction leaders. As soon as the resort receives this status, we will have a guarantee that all therapeutic mud will be saved. In addition, it is a powerful signal to investors that the state protects this resort and investments that will be invested in its development. In the world of such unique resorts, only 3-4, investors will be happy to invest in its development, "- said the head of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

It should be noted that on April 17, during the hardware meeting of the Regional State Administration, it became known that Maxim Stepanov would appeal to the leaders of the factions of the Verkhovna Rada regarding the adoption of the relevant draft law. Previously, its implementation will not require additional financing from the state budget.

It is expected that the new status will preserve and rationally use the medical resources of the Kuyalnitsky estuary. Accordingly, Article 2 of the bill refers to the approval of the boundary of the district and the zones of sanitary protection. In addition, it is planned to clear the Great Lyman River.

Recall that the Kuyalnitsky Liman is a unique deposit of mud mud both by the number of stocks, and by their chemical properties. On the shore of the estuary is the oldest mud hospital in Ukraine (from 1833). Each year it is visited by more than 25 thousand people from 15 countries of the world. Also, the Kuyalnitsk mineral water deposit belongs to the medical category. Natural resources allow for the treatment and prevention of a wide range of diseases.
