Maxim Stepanov: Social payments to vulnerable people will not be stopped
Social benefits to the most vulnerable categories of citizens can not be stopped due to political statements. This was stated by the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov during the extraordinary meeting of the regional council.
"There is a well-defined order of categories of people who need this help. Where did the figure of "1000" hryvnia come from? They invented themselves, believed themselves, spread themselves. Then you will have parliamentary elections, then local, and we will all the time talk to people wait? I strongly object. Moreover, I instruct my deputy and director of the profile department to further enhance the information support of this campaign. And the election here is nothing to do. If there are any manifestations not that bribery, but also agitation, it is necessary to immediately involve law enforcement agencies ", - said Maxim Stepanov.
The regional deputy reminded that the overwhelming majority of deputies supported this regional program. Moreover, the distribution of monetary assistance is carried out with the involvement of members of the Standing Committee of the Regional Council on Health and Social Policy. Therefore, today during the meeting, the proposal to change the order of payments did not find support in the hall.
Recall that the right to receive the said assistance includes persons from war veterans, war veterans, children of war, other categories of citizens who are least socially protected at the state and oblast level, and their aggregate income in a month does not exceed 2500 hryvnia.
