Maxim Stepanov: There are several mechanisms for launching the uninterrupted operation of the Odessa port plant
Several mechanisms have been found to launch the uninterrupted operation of the Odessa port plant. This was announced by the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov during a regular meeting with employees of the company.
"I reported on this topic to the President of Ukraine, talked several times with the Prime Minister and the leadership of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy. There are several mechanisms for launching the plant not for a month or two, but for a long time. Firstly, it is transferring it to the management or lease of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. Another possible solution to the problem we found during a meeting of the first vice prime minister on Monday is the transfer of the Odessa port plant to the management or lease of the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine, which has all the necessary resources ", - said Maxim Stepanov.
Also, the region's head said that using any of these mechanisms, the plant will be able to run in a short time.
"We were faced with the question of releasing people from the plant, but due to the governor and his intervention, in particular, this problem was solved, and nobody was released," - stressed v.о. Director of PJSC "Odessa Port Plant" Sergey Nazarenko.
Recall that in early February, the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov at the invitation of workers took part in the conference of the labor collective, which assured that he will make the maximum effort to help solve the problem of the early launching of the Odessa port plant.
