The Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Maksym Kutsyi together with the members of the regional staff checked the readiness of the Odesa Regional Clinical Hospital to receive patients in case of the spread of the COVID-19 virus infection.

“They talked to the medical staff. The facility is ready to be redeveloped into a support hospital within hours. The decision will be made in accordance with the relevant protocol and recommendations of the Ministry of Health. Indeed, the hospital has needs for ventilators, protective masks and suits. Everybody - the President, the Ministry of Health, the RSA, deputies, volunteers and indifferent residents of the region are working to resolve this issue, ”Maksym Kutsyi said.

Currently, more than 600 patients are receiving medical care at a regional clinical hospital.

The collegial decision of the doctors of Odesa region and the regional headquarters of the Odesa regional state administration made the decision to allow the epidemic situation in the region to resolve - the doctors will continue to treat their patients.
