The Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Maksym Kutsyi, the representatives of the Odesa Regional Council and the Verkhovna Rada outlined the list of priority socio-economic development projects that should be implemented in the Odesa region during 2020 at the expense of budgets of all levels.

On the request of the Cabinet of Ministers, consultations were held with members of the public and deputies on changes to the draft prospective plan for the formation of territories of the communities of the region. Currently, the relevant plan approved by the government in 2015 covers only 34.3% of the region's territory. Changes to the community plan should protect the area from the formation of underfunded and incomplete integrated territorial communities.

“The perspective plan should be the basis of the future administrative-territorial structure of the basic community level, on the basis of which the district level will be formed in the future. In preparing the prospectus plan, we need to consider the modeling of public service networks and services. In order to develop an effective package of changes, I propose to create a working group that will include People's Deputies”, Maksym Kutsyi emphasized.

It should be noted that the working group will work within the next three weeks. Changes to the draft perspective plan for the formation of territories of communities in the Odesa region are planned to be approved by December 10.
