Ukraine and Poland are not only neighboring countries, good friends and partners, but also peoples with centuries of history. The Poles have always been an important and important part of the population of Odesa.
From ancient times, when Odesa was not yet, there were posts of the Commonwealth, and later Adam Mickiewicz, a legendary poet, revolutionary, and a fighter for the freedom of the Polish people, visited the city. During his stay in Odesa, Adam Mickiewicz wrote the famous sonnet - "The Ackerman Steppe."
