Maksym Kutsyi checked the readiness of the Odesa city infectious hospital for coronavirus

The head of the Odesa regional state administration Maksym Kutsyi checked the readiness of the main hospital base of the region - Odesa city infectious hospital for coronavirus COVID-19.

The audit revealed that the hospital's medical staff had an algorithm for acting on suspicion of illness. Also, doctors at the region's main hospital base prepared special insulated boxes for 65 people and artificial lung ventilators.

“Enhanced security measures are being implemented in all hospitals in the region. Additional artificial lung ventilation devices, personal protective equipment were ordered, and a detailed plan for rapid redeployment of medical units developed as needed. Citizens' health is a priority of the country and the Odesa Regional State Administration, ”Maksym Kutsyi said.

At present, there are 72 artificial ventilation devices in the Odessa region. In the near future, another 10 vehicles are expected.
