Almost 60 infrastructure projects were implemented by the OTG of Odesa oblast with the state subsidy

The united territorial communities of the Odessa region already implemented 59 infrastructure projects with state budget subventions. This was reported by the Department of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

"In April, from the state budget for the development of the OTG of the Odessa region, the Government sent nearly UAH 96 million. For these funds, 25 communities of the region will have to implement 127 infrastructure projects by the end of the year. Currently, 59 projects are fully completed and another 30 are in the final stage. For the most part, the community directs funds for the purchase of vehicles, repair of educational institutions, improvement of road transport infrastructure, street lighting, water supply ", - said the director of the department of economic policy and strategic planning of the Odessa regional state administration Dmitry Radulov.

To date, 31 OTGs have been created in the oblast, 5 more are at different stages of the association. The best rates of implementation of the projects are demonstrated by the Vanguardovsky and Velykomikhaylivske settlement OTGs, as well as Dalnytska, Znamyanska, Konoplyanska, Mayakivska, Kuyalnitskaya and Lyman rural OTGs.

It should be noted that in 2018, the Government allocated almost two billion hryvnias for the development of 665 OTGs in Ukraine. Funds are distributed only between communities that were created in 2015-2017.

Recall that the Odesa Regional State Administration operates the Coordinating Council of the United Territorial Communities, headed by the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov. Its purpose is to intensify the solution of topical issues that arise at the level of local self-government. Meetings of the council are held on a monthly basis.
