Doctors of mobile polyclinics visited residents of 15 districts of the Odessa region

Free medical surveys of the population within the framework of the "Mobile Polyclinic" project already took place in 15 districts of the Odessa region. This was reported in the Department of Health of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

"The project lasts almost two months. During this time, mobile polyclinics specialists conducted medical examinations of more than 6,000 residents, and for the first time more than 800 patients were diagnosed. The greatest demand is for consultations of cardiologists, ophthalmologists and ultrasound specialists. In addition, during the work of mobile clinics, almost 250 declarations with family doctors were signed ", - said Olena Teryaeva, Director of the Department of Health of the State Department of Health.

During this week, mobile clinics operate in Zakharov, Ivanovo and Shiryaevsky districts. Recording for diagnosis takes place in the direction of the family doctor.

It should be noted that the project "Mobile Polyclinic" was initiated by the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov. It is part of the reform of rural medicine, which was launched by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Each brigade of the "Mobile Polyclinics" physicians includes: cardiologist, ophthalmologist, endocrinologist, gynecologist, ultrasound doctor, X-ray laboratory. Telemedicine is used to diagnose if necessary. The project involves identifying the most common diseases at an early stage and further sending patients for examination and treatment at highly specialized care facilities.

Recall, the project "Mobile Polyclinic" is long-term. Auto-ambulances will cover all areas of the oblast quarterly, changing settlements.
