More than 18 thousand residents of Odessa region received medical consultations of doctors of mobile polyclinics. In general, specialists traveled to settlements in 20 districts. This was reported in the Department of Health of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

"In February, to each team of specialists, we have attracted additional children's doctors - surgeons, dermatologists and dentists. That is, one day in the settlement there is simultaneously a survey of children in educational institutions and adults in mobile clinics. During March, the departures will be carried out in up to 6 districts of the region, and then the polyclinics will visit all districts repeatedly, changing the settlements ", - said the director of the Department of Health of the OSA Olena Teryaeva.

It should be noted that due to surveys of narrow specialists, it is possible to timely diagnose the most common nosologies in Ukraine, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus and bronchial asthma. In total, during the period of the "Mobile Polyclinic" project, more than 1 500 people were diagnosed for the first time.

Each brigade of doctors includes: cardiologist, ophthalmologist, endocrinologist, gynecologist, urologist, ultrasound diagnostic specialist, mammologist, and also a pediatric dentist, surgeon and dermatologist. In order to get advice from doctors of mobile clinics, you need to take a referral from your family doctor. In particular, in order to organize children's school surveys, local doctors warn their parents in advance. Reviews are held only with their consent or in the immediate presence.

During this week, mobile clinics worked in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Artsyzsk districts. If necessary, patients are referred for additional examination or treatment in specialized medical care institutions.

It is planned that during the first wave of reviews experts will visit 75 settlements of the region and will examine more than 20 thousand rural population.
