The only system of civil protection is transferred to work in a special period. Preparing for such a regime involves command-and-staff training that will take place next week. This was announced during a meeting of the SNS headquarters under the chairmanship of Gennady Zubka, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

"We are currently working on approving a plan of events that will allow us to prepare all necessary units and facilities," Gennady Zubko emphasized. He also added that the right to carry out inspections of civil protection objects was provided to the State Emergency Services.

The chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov took part in the work of the operational headquarters of the DSNC. During the meeting it was singled out that the transfer of a single system of civil protection to a special regime would not affect the ordinary life of Ukrainians.

It should be noted that the military state was introduced exclusively in the regions along the Russian border, the Transnistrian section of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border and along the Azov and Black seas. This, as well as ensuring preparedness for the tasks of protecting the population, is a response to the threat from the Russian Federation.
