Head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission arrives in Odesa on an official visit

First Deputy Head of Odesa Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Ovechkin meets with Head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Matilda Bogner. They discussed social policy in the region.

In particular, respect for human rights and assistance to socially disadvantaged groups.

“The activity of the Odesa Regional State Administration is aimed at constant observance of human rights. The profile departments have established a dialogue with all groups living in the region. In this way, people should be able to assert their rights, culture and national peculiarities in courts, as well as in various bodies of state power, ”- said the first deputy head of the Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Ovechkin.

Matilda Bogner added that a stable and peaceful life is the result of dialogue and interaction with all groups living in the region. She also assured the ODA leadership of its willingness to cooperate.
