One more district has been connected to the Unified Ambulance center of the Odessa region

The work of the Unified Dispatch Center for the First Aid of the Odessa region was further extended to the inhabitants of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district. This is the third district, which is connected to the work of the center. This was reported by Director of the CU "Odessa Regional Emergency and Emergency Medicine Center" Olena Teryaeva.

"Belgorod-Dniester district serves 10 ambulance brigades. They are based in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky, as well as in isolated substations in Sergievka, Shabo, Starokozach, Marazlivka, Gulf and Vipasnoye. Day and night, there are alternates on them, in general, 4 doctors and 10 medical assistants of emergency medical care. At present, 22 calls of ambulance teams in the area have already been performed, which were directed from the Unified Dispatching Service of the Odessa Region, "said Olena Teryaeva, Director of the Odessa Regional Emergency and Emergency Medicine Center.

According to her, the entire process of switching the district to the control center will last up to 10 days. As a result, local paramedics now duplicate the dispatch function for safe switching. Also, Olena Teryaeva drew the attention of the inhabitants of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district that they should not call for ambulance under the old number 2-21-14, but you need to call immediately at "103".

Recall, last week residents of Bilyaivsky and Ovidiopolsky districts were connected to the Single operational-dispatcher service of emergency medical care of the Odessa region. On the day the service was opened, the cities of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhne were covered.

Recall also that on March 21 in Odesa region opened the Unified Dispatcher Center for Emergency Medical Care. The new center significantly reduces the time the physician brigade arrives to the patient. This is made possible by the automation of receiving calls, electronic control of all stages of the provision of ambulances, and optimizing resource management. Therefore, due to the work of the center, the choice of the nearest brigade for the fulfillment of the application is established.

Also the shortest route of its movement is chosen through GPS-navigation. Improving the quality of medical services in Odesa Oblast is one of the priorities of the implementation of the Strategic Action Plan by the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov "Intelligent Region" for 2017-2019.
