Details of fire at the College of Economics in Odesa.

04.12.2019 at 10:12 am there was a report of a smoke on the third floor of the 6-storey building of Odesa College of Economics and Law.

The units are automatically routed to the increased call number "Fire Rank 1-BIS".

After receiving information from the operative regular Odesa Regional State Administration, the heads of the structural units and the first deputy head Viacheslav Ovechkin left for the incident.

At 10:17 on the arrival of the first branch, a fire was installed in the room on the third floor, an increased call number "Fire Rank 3" was announced.

Evacuation of people from the 2nd and 3rd floors was organized. The fire area was 700 square meters.

At 10:47 am, two firefighters were reported to be killed during a liquidation, which was hospitalized by the SMD carriage at the Into-Sana Clinic.

At 11:01 the fire area was 1000 square meters.

At 11:13 am, according to preliminary information from “103”, 8 people were injured, two of them - employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, all the victims were hospitalized in medical institutions in Odesa.

14:18 The fire is located on the area of 4000 square meters.

SMD carriages were delivered to the hospitals of the city of the injured 22 persons, of which 7 are employees of the SES.

1 person was killed.

After localization of the fire, the structural units report to the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Maksym Kutsyi every hour about the condition of the victims and the elimination of the consequences of the fire.

The meeting of the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations will take place tomorrow. It will release the details of the fire.

Among the victims:

- 15 residents of Odesa;

- 3 residents of Bilyaevsky district;

- 2 residents of the Razdelnyansky district;

- 1 inhabitant from Ttarutin and Lyman districts.

Ambulance crews evacuated 15 people directly from the scene to the medical facilities. Another 3 people will be brought from the place of residence and 4 people will see the doctors themselves.

The victims received burns of varying severity and localization, as well as poisoning by burning products and injuries of varying severity.
