Chernomorsk received funding for landslide works
The Black Sea is gradually receiving funding for construction work to strengthen the coastal zone. The city will receive all of the 42 million hryvnias from the state budget reserve fund by the end of 2018. This was stated by the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov during a meeting with residents of Primorskaya street.
"We passed all stages and managed to allocate from the reserve fund 42 million hryvnia. As promised, funds have already arrived, so the work continues. Most importantly - completely stop the landslide processes, from which people have been suffering for many years ", - said Maxim Stepanov.
Therefore, during the project implementation it is planned to arrange piles of retaining structures and drainage complex.
It should be noted that the funds were allocated by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of September 19, 2018. For this purpose, the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration personally addressed a letter, which referred to the need for the project "Anti-slip measures in the coastal zone in the area of the 9th neighborhood of the city of Black Sea. Adjustment "and prevention of emergencies in the Odessa region.
Recall that for 20 years the inhabitants of the city of Chornomorsk suffered due to landslides of the coastal zone. In the zone of negative influence were an area of over 30 hectares and almost five thousand inhabitants. Thus, in April 2018, the chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers with a request to allocate funds for landslide work in the city of Chornomorsk.
