Boxers from the Odessa region won four medals at the Ukrainian championship

Athletes from Odesa oblast won four medals at the Ukrainian Junior Boxing Championship. Competitions took place in Kharkiv from February 19 to 24. This was reported by Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Valentin Kolchak.

"For the championship 297 participants from different regions of Ukraine competed for the championship. Athletes from the Odessa region managed to win one gold, one silver and two bronze medals, which allowed the fourth place to score in the final team. During the performances, boxers demonstrated high skill and endurance, "Valentyn Kolchak emphasized.

In addition, Dmytro Molodan, who won the gold medal, became the 7-time champion of Ukraine and received a license for the Junior Championship of Europe, which will be held in Romania in May.

Recall that in February sportsmen from Odesa oblast won two gold medals at the Ukrainian Winter Athletics Championships among juniors.
